Born and raised on the outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark, Chef Lasse Sorensen is no stranger to food. Growing up, he spent a lot of time in the kitchen helping his father, who was a pastry chef for the royal family. He now hosts the popular cooking program, Food is Love, and believes that sharing delicious food is in essence, one of the greatest forms of love.

From simple entry level jobs in the hospitality service industry, we are committed to moving and growing people in their skills and capabilities to achieve more than they thought was possible, including owning their own food truck business, God willing. We are called to provide dignified dining for those suffering food insecurity through indigenous citizens, restaurants, and entrepreneurs.

Capstone Mergers and Acquisitions was established to effectively streamline the confidential business sale process. Our 65-years of collective experience has provided the vantage point of best practices.

Benedictine College is heir to the 1500 years of the Benedictine order's dedication to learning. Benedictine College’s mission as a Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts, residential college is to educate men and women in a community of faith and scholarship. Toward what end? The Byron G. Thompson Center for Integrity in Finance and Economics is the vision and funding center for The Spark Tank and New Venture Philanthropy. It's through the generous gift of the Thompson Family that the Center can do its work on multiple projects including the two above, plus Virtuoso Research, Currency of Caring implementations, and more.

The Cloud L. Cray Center for Entrepreneurial Services is an endowed center within the School of Business at Benedictine College that encourages and enables our entrepreneurial students and our community of entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams and seeing them through from simply an idea, to fruition.
